Chief Operating Officer

Lenawee Community Mental Health Authority is currently recruiting a full time Chief Operating Officer.  The candidate will:

  • Communicate regularly with the Executive Director, LCMHA staff members, vendors and external partners;
  • Participate in the development of the LCMHA's mission, vision, goals and other strategic planning activities;
  • Oversee the development and management of all contracts with the LCMHA;
  • Understand, adhere to and maintain competency with MDHHS, PIHP and applicable accreditation standards, policies, procedures and contract requirements of all applicable funding sources.

The qualifications listed below are guidelines (other combinations of education and experience that could provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job shall be considered):

  • Master's degree in the field of Public Administration or other related business or human services studies required.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in a health care or human service agency.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a department supervisor or administrator.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and analysis;
  • Experience and expertise in facilitation of groups and committees.
